Our November speaker is Philip Padgett, discussing his recent book “Advocating Overlord…The D-Day Strategy and the Atom Bomb.” Mr. Padgett will describe the conflicting views, contradictory strategies, and political dynamics that led to the highly controversial D-Day invasion plan, Operation Overlord.
